This Privacy Policy explains how VoiceFX handles information when you record, import, transform, generate, save, or share audio; use AI voice features; create a personal voice; sign in; or contact support.

1. PRIVACY AT A GLANCE

VoiceFX is designed to keep most activity on your device.

Recording, importing, on-device voice effects, playback, saved Clips, and Soundboard items are processed and stored locally unless you explicitly choose a cloud AI feature or share content with another app.

VoiceFX does not include advertising, advertising tracking, data brokers, payment collection, or third-party behavioral analytics.

Preset AI voice features do not require an account. Passwordless email sign-in is required only for My Voices and account management.

1. INFORMATION PROCESSED ON YOUR DEVICE

VoiceFX may process the following information locally:

• Microphone recordings you start • WAV files you choose to import • On-device voice effects and effect settings • Saved and generated audio clips • Clip names, durations, creation dates, and related metadata • Soundboard items and their order • Playback and app preferences • Your locally stored authentication session • A randomly generated installation identifier used to obtain guest access to cloud features

This information remains in the app’s local storage unless you choose to use a cloud feature, share a file, or delete the app.

VoiceFX requests microphone permission only when you choose to record. You can withdraw microphone permission at any time through your device settings.

1. CLOUD AI VOICE CONVERSION

When you choose Cloud AI voice conversion, VoiceFX asks for contextual confirmation before uploading audio.

After confirmation:

• The selected recording is sent securely to the VoiceFX API. • The VoiceFX API sends the audio to ElevenLabs to perform the requested voice conversion. • The VoiceFX API processes the source and converted audio in memory and does not persist either file on its server. • The converted result is returned to your device, where you may save it locally.

VoiceFX does not treat an earlier confirmation as permanent permission for future audio uploads. Each cloud audio upload requires a new contextual confirmation.

Temporary mobile files created for conversion are removed after saving, failure, cancellation, or leaving the conversion flow.
