Sukoon ("Sukoon", "we", "us", or "the app") is a mindful screen-time and focus app. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles, how it is used, and the choices you have. We built Sukoon to be private by design: the overwhelming majority of your data never leaves your device.

1. Summary (the short version)

• We do not require an account. No email, name, phone number, or Apple ID sign-in.
• We do not sell your data. Ever.
• We do not use advertising, ad networks, or tracking identifiers (no IDFA).
• We do not use third-party analytics SDKs.
• Your app-usage and Screen Time data stays on your device. It is managed by Apple's Screen Time framework and is never transmitted to us.
• The only data that leaves your device powers the optional community leaderboard and the optional AI insight feature.

2. Information stored only on your device

Most of what Sukoon tracks is stored locally and is never sent to us or any third party: your selected distracting apps, limits and shield settings; Screen Time / Family Controls usage data (Apple provides this via opaque tokens — we cannot see your app identities and it never leaves your device); prayer tracking, Khatm/Quran progress, habits, streaks, focus sessions, Mindful Score; notification preferences and settings. Deleting the app erases all of it.

3. Information sent off your device

Only for the two optional features below.

a) Community & Leaderboard (Supabase): an anonymous device identifier (random, not linked to Apple ID/email/name); a display name (auto-generated like "ZenCalm_1234" unless you change it); weekly aggregate stats (screen-free minutes, unlock count, best streak, week); and group info if you create/join a group (name, invite code, membership). We do not receive your Apple ID, contacts, location, or the identities of apps you limit.

b) AI Insights (optional): sends only aggregate, non-identifying numbers (focus minutes, breaks, hydration count, walk minutes) to generate a short suggestion. No name, device ID, contacts, or app identities.

4. How we use information

Only to calculate leaderboards/rankings, let you use groups, and generate optional AI insights. Never for advertising, profiling, or resale.

5. Legal bases (EEA/UK)

Consent (by choosing to use the optional features) and legitimate interest in providing them. You may withdraw consent anytime.
